Companies depend on design engineers to lead innovation

Electronics design engineers research, design and develop precision electronic components, products and installations for commercial, industrial, military applications, medical instruments, automated systems, and others. They also develop inspection methods, testing, and maintenance programs for these products.
These engineers work on a team with other engineers from many other disciplines. Therefore, it is important for them to have excellent communication and people skills, as they solve problems through creating hardware and software, designing schematics and prototypes, and supervising the new-product creation process for electronic components and machines.

“Murray Resources places design engineers – from process design engineers to electronic design engineers to mechanical design engineers. There is always going to be a need for design engineers,” said Keith Wolf, managing director of Murray Resources.
