Houston-based Murray Resources has opened a new office in The Woodlands to manage growing client demand.

“We’re excited about the continued growth of The Woodlands market, both in terms of the increased hiring we’re seeing from our clients in the area, as well as in regards to the strong job growth projected for the next several years,” Marsha Murray, president of Murray Resources, said in a statement.

Previously, the recruiting firm served its clients in The Woodlands from its Houston location. Murray said that by 2016, The Woodlands’ population would grow 15 percent and have about 2,000 employers.

The new location will be located in Market Street, the city’s open-air shopping center, and will serve clients by appointment only, similar to the office format at the Houston location. Murray opened the business in 1988 and has a base of more than 800 client companies serving various industries, such as manufacturing, finance and marketing, with temporary and contract workers.
