Murray Resources Internship Program

Murray Resources’ Internship Program provides an opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience in the recruiting industry, while working on actual projects.

Internship Requirements:

  • Must be entering junior or senior year at an accredited college or university
  • Able to commit to minimum of 10 hours per week.
  • Be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Available to start in May/June and work through August

Although we select interns from many areas of study, most of our internship opportunities are for students who major in Human Resources, Business, or Communications and are interested in pursuing a career in Recruiting or Human Resources.

Internship Duties
While internship projects will vary, depending on the needs of the business and each intern’s professional background and strengths, a typical internship program will include:

  • Assist recruiters with screening candidate resumes, administering pre-employment assessments, and communicating with hiring managers in regards to ongoing interviews.
  • Assist with administrative HR tasks such as filing and data entry.
  • Other projects and tasked as assigned by the Internship Team Lead.

Internship Compensation
This position pays $9/hour. In addition, most students are able to receive course credit through their university.

Internship Work Schedule
This position has been designed specifically for active students. The work schedule is flexible around class, activities, holidays, exams, and study time. Each student is only required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week on average but may work as much as 40 hours per week depending on course requirements and business need.
