3. Acknowledge the Technological Gap.
As members of the Facebook generation, Millennials generally haven’t lived without social media networks, high-speed Internet and web-enabled cellphones. On the flip side, a lot of non-Millennials still vividly remember the days of no Internet, no email and no cellphones.
For many Millennials, “the notion of being chained to a PC without immediate access to their social networks is foreign,” said Keith Wolf, managing director of Houston-based recruiting and staffing firm Murray Resources.
That being said, it might not be wise for a Millennial (or a non-Millennial) to be checking Facebook posts during an important presentation at the office.
